Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering project reports

Abstract
This report is the furtherance of Final Year Project Part A of Undergraduate degree of BEng in Civil and Structural Engineering on the Design of Sports Complex done in a group based of three degree students which is supervised by Dr. Shaker S. Bitar of the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Universiti Teknologi Brunei.
In this phase, the report will mainly focus on the structural aspects where the previous phase was focusing on the architectural aspect of the project with the aim to design a safe, economical and aesthetically-pleasing recreational sports complex. As a result of planning, designing and calculating using manual calculation along with the use of computer software application, the architectural plans and detailing of structural elements are then formed according to standard requirements and British Standard Codes respectively. It is as well providing the construction management details such as the cost estimation and the construction duration of the project. These elements are proposed to give a better view in an attempt to build a safe, economical and aesthetically-pleasing recreational sports complex.
