Project report (Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting & Information system) 2020.

Abstract
The objectives of this research report were to explore different government support schemes provided by the Brunei government for its local exporters to see how the schemes have been able to attract and help the locals to involve in the exporting industry in order to enhance the country's economy. This research report not only studies the government support schemes and initiatives in terms of financial assistance aspects but also other aspects that can affect the capability of the local businesses in Brunei to venture into the exporting industry. The result not only focuses on the Brunei government support schemes for the local exporters but also on Brunei government initiatives to provide schemes for local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to assist the locals who have export potential to venture deeper in the business industry. The findings in this research report show that the local businesses in Brunei can benefit from different types of schemes provided by the government with the collaboration and joint venture of other sectors to ensure its success and the expansion of the scale of export in Brunei are depending on the participants of the local businesses and the local exporters.
