Summary: Abstract
This project report consists of the final analysis and design of a football stadium. The focused items or structures that built in the stadium are grandstand, roof system and other structural components. In understanding the idea of designing a stadium, one needs to be able to define the objectives and managements of a stadium in general, able to interpret previous case studies and literature reviews, understand the code of practices used, and most importantly be able to have the knowledge of analyzing and designing a structure. . . .

Abstract
This project report consists of the final analysis and design of a football stadium. The focused items or structures that built in the stadium are grandstand, roof system and other structural components. In understanding the idea of designing a stadium, one needs to be able to define the objectives and managements of a stadium in general, able to interpret previous case studies and literature reviews, understand the code of practices used, and most importantly be able to have the knowledge of analyzing and designing a structure.
As a structural engineer, analyzing a complex structure can be difficult and challenging in some ways. Thus, introducing a computer aided structural analysis software will definitely be of a helpful tools in analyzing even a big complex structure. Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional is a structural numerical software used for this particular project. It generally provides advanced Building Information Modelling, BIM-integrated analysis and design tools to understand the behavior of any structure type and verify code compliance.
At the end of this project, results of the structural analysis of the stadium will be evaluated, and the detailed design of the main structural components such as beam design, column design, slab design, and foundation design will be shown. These results will then be concluded, whether or not the software is reliable or vice versa.
Dissertation is available in CD and is not for loan or reference use.
Dissertation (Degree) - Universiti Teknologi Brunei (2016).
Includes bibliographical and appendices.
