ABSTRACT
There are different types of trees available in the huge rainforest of Brunei Darussalam and one of such type is firewood. 5 samples local firewood collected are Aru, Kalimpapa, Rambutan, Sebubu and Suma. This project has successfully done tests against these 5 samples of firewood. Tests included the density, moisture content, ash content, bomb calorimeter and gas detection test. Through total rating of different properties tested, Suma is rated the best firewood out of the 5 different firewood.
