A project report submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

ABSRTACT
A speed reducer mechanism has been designed in this project. The mechanism enables the output speed to be reduced to one half of the input speed. The mechanism is light and is suitable to be used as a teaching aid in the classroom for demonstration. The reducer has been successfully completed and satisfies the objective of the project.
