Abstract:
Leadership plays an important role in driving people towards achieving the nation's vision of 2035, which aims for a prosperous nation and a high standard of living. Leadership issues in the leadership style of a head village have been a topic within the country's communities for ages, requiring in-depth research on how they can be improved.
This study was a qualitative survey. The target population consisted of 100 randomly selected citizens based in Brunei Muara only. Additionally, the target population also included 65 specifically selected head villages working in Brunei Muara District only. Secondary data was obtained from previous research related to this study, and data was collected from authorized and reliable sources.
The data collection instrument was a questionnaire survey, with questions designed based on previously approved research. The respondents were the targeted population of the study. Quantitative data was used to validate the quality of the research. The study concluded that age is not the only significant factor influencing the leadership style of a head village in Brunei.
