ABSTRACT
Design of offshore structures are important as it could affect the economics of a country and its environment especially marine. One of the factors that could cause damage on the structure is the wave load. In this study, CFD simulation of water wave and its effect on offshore structure is analysed. The objectives of the study are to construct Finite volume Method (FVM) model offshore structure which is a fixed cylindrical structure and simulate it in a two phase environment. Volume of Fluid modelling is done with laminar flow using linear wave theory using ANSYS Workbench and FLUENT software. In the end of the study, the wave elevation, velocity and forces are analysed.
