ABSTRACT
The development of the cognitive aspect of the children in the early stages still requires a concrete visualization for the perfect understanding of something. This project proposes the development of an impressive method to educate children aged 5-8 through an interactive story based on Augmented Reality technology. Storytelling is an effective way to help parents to raise awareness of the children, and augmented reality becomes a medium to help the children visualize something microscopic such as bacteria that need a special tool to see it. AR refers to the technology of virtual object additions into the real world in real-time through a platform such as a camera or a smartphone. The object can be 2D or 3D, or other elements such as sounds and text. Finally, visualization, storytelling, and augmented reality will be an effective combination to raise self-cleanliness awareness among children ages 5-8.
