Thesis Submitted for the degree of BSc in Creative Multimedia Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

ABSTRACT
Comparing yourself to others can be seen as a good thing and a bad thing. However, when someone is comparing yourself to others, it does waste his or her energy and time as they are focusing on other people's lives rather than on their own. The purpose of this project is to create a short 3D animation film which used a quote by Robin Sharma (2015), "Run your own race, at your own pace as a metaphoric reference. Based on the findings done in this paper, the 3D animation video has successfully engaged and successfully conveyed the message of the story to the audience. Results showed that the video projected a calm-pleasant mood to the audiences. By applying the PANAS scale into the findings, due to several factors, results stated that the audience felt the animated video gives a positive effect to their feelings.
