| 500 | _aAbstract This system is called Color Detection Device for Food Quality. The device itself is called pH Color Grab. It is a system where a device is made to recognize colors specifically within the pH colors. In this project, I will be focusing on experimenting chicken and fish meat using PH paper and witness the color changing that then the device will detect the color on the pH paper. Consumers buy foods without knowing the quality before they are cooked and also buy raw meat like chicken or fish determine the quality just by looking at the color of the meat. Getting the pH value for food required a laboratory staff or people who just wants to know to do initial lab test by using the pH meter or pH paper to see the color changes on the paper by relying to the naked eyes that just simply read off the acidity or alkalinity. Sometimes the color showed on the pH paper is not clear or have gradient in it. In other cases, if the pH color scale is misplaced or ripped, people have to search the scale on the internet and that sometimes the colors showed on the laptop screen or mobile phone screen are different from when looking at them in real. To overcome these problems, Color Detection Device for Food Quality is proposed which allows users to detect colors on the pH paper after they did the experiment using the pH paper. It can be used by students and teachers for education purposes, health enthusiasts and anyone who wants to check the quality of the food they are about to consumed. The device can be used as an alternative as user can use pH Color Grab to detect the color if the pH scale is lost or ripped. | ||
