ABSTRACT<br/>Entrepreneurial orientation in stand of point views contributes to the success of firms differently.<br/>Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the contribution of related variables of entrepreneurial<br/>orientation towards the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises towards the influencing the<br/>SMEs performance. To achieve this objective, the primary data was attained from a sample of 139<br/>of owner/manager of Small and Medium Enterprises in which were disseminated in Brunei Muara<br/>District, Brunei Darussalam using self-administrative. The present study supported the prediction<br/>that the five entrepreneurial orientation dimensions are related positively with SMEs performance.<br/>These findings can help the owner and manager in enhancing and developing the new product<br/>development of the businesses, introducing new technology in their businesses, the businesses must<br/>compete aggressively with the competitors, working autonomously by taking risk and perform<br/>better than their competitors in the Small Medium Enterprises in Brunei Darussalam. The results<br/>have indicated that autonomy positively related to SMEs. The results also showed that competitive<br/>aggressiveness, proactiveness, risk-taking and innovativeness were positively related to SMEs<br/>performance.<br/>Keywords: SMEs Performance; Autonomy; Innovativeness; Competitive Aggressiveness; Risk-<br/>taking; Proactiveness; Entrepreneurial orientation. |
