Project report (Bachelor of Degree (Hons) in Business Technology Management) 2020.

ABSTRACT
Entrepreneurial orientation in stand of point views contributes to the success of firms differently.
Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the contribution of related variables of entrepreneurial
orientation towards the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises towards the influencing the
SMEs performance. To achieve this objective, the primary data was attained from a sample of 139
of owner/manager of Small and Medium Enterprises in which were disseminated in Brunei Muara
District, Brunei Darussalam using self-administrative. The present study supported the prediction
that the five entrepreneurial orientation dimensions are related positively with SMEs performance.
These findings can help the owner and manager in enhancing and developing the new product
development of the businesses, introducing new technology in their businesses, the businesses must
compete aggressively with the competitors, working autonomously by taking risk and perform
better than their competitors in the Small Medium Enterprises in Brunei Darussalam. The results
have indicated that autonomy positively related to SMEs. The results also showed that competitive
aggressiveness, proactiveness, risk-taking and innovativeness were positively related to SMEs
performance.
