ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine employees' emotions towards organizational change happened within the three telecommunication organizations in Brunei. Most of the existing literature pointed out that any organizational change affects the employees' emotions with their level of support and attitudes. It was also suggested that having interventions can reduce the adverse effects of emotional employees to better cope and adapt to any changes in the organizations. A cross-sectional study was used to attain the study's aim to examine the employees' emotions towards organizational change. Specifically, a mixed approach was used; quantitative data was collected using survey questionnaires to recognize and understand the employees' emotions with their level of support and attitudes towards change as well as to identify the coping and adapting strategies; also, qualitative data was collected using formal focus group interviews to have richer and in-depth information on the employees' emotions, attitudes, and their emotional management towards change. This study found strong significant relationships between the level of support and job attitudes, emotions and job attitudes towards organizational change, and interventions with job attitudes and level of support. This study also found out that the employees who were having mixed and negative emotions tend to resist change while employees who were having positive emotions tend to support change.
